ARobotics & mathematical problem solvingSTEM
I competed in the U19 Wheeled Sports Robots division at the 2025 FIRA Canada Open with Mingde Robotic Club and earned first place. I've also competed in mathematics, including Fermat and AMC.
B《你，是我亲手写下的未来》WRITING
I wrote a Chinese coming of age romance set between Vancouver and other Canadian cities. A teenager reconnects with a former classmate, and the story follows their relationship across the distance.
The manuscript includes songs and sketches. It also has alternate endings.
CA small experiment in message tonePRODUCT
I iterated on a prototype that checks a message's tone and suggests a rewrite. It uses basic rules for now. Live AI analysis is a possible next step.

I'm Shun (Shawn) Zhao. I went to high school in Vancouver and now study at UC Berkeley, where my intended major is Applied Mathematics.
I've made videos since 2023. I write music, too. My other projects include student events and research about education.
My interests include data science and business. I'm also interested in education and human behavior. They don't all fit into one job title.
